KLM is extremely pleased to resume its flights to Teheran after three years. What’s more, we’re honoured that Minister Schultz and members of the trade delegation are joining us on the flight.
These flights to Teheran add a new dimension to KLM’s strong network. They will also be beneficial to the Dutch companies I will be joining on this trade mission, helping them to do business in Iran.
KLM flew to Teheran from April 1948 to April 2013. Since the beginning of this year, Iran’s economy has seen considerable growth as more and more international companies initiate business there. It is just one reason why KLM has resumed service to this important Middle Eastern destination.
Last summer, KLM added a record number of new destinations to its network. Teheran is one of five new destinations that KLM will initiate when the new winter schedule goes into service. Flights to Teheran will depart every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday at 17.40 from Amsterdam.
