KLM has presented a new wage proposal to employee unions, offering a €1,000 one-time payment in 2025 and a structural salary increase of up to 2.5% by July 2026, depending on the company’s financial performance.

Key points of the offer:

  • Duration: A 22-month collective labour agreement (CLA) across all employee groups.

  • Wages:

    • €1,000 one-time bonus for all employees in 2025.

    • Up to 2.5% structural pay increase from 1 July 2026, tied to KLM’s 2025 operating margin.

      • Full 2.5% increase if KLM achieves a COI margin of ?5.5%.

      • Minimum increase of 0.5% if the margin is lower.

KLM sees the proposal as a solid basis for an agreement and will resume negotiations with unions on 10 July 2025.
