KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will operate 164 destinations during the summer 2026 season (March 29–October 25), comprising 96 European and 68 intercontinental routes, as it increases overall seat capacity by approximately 5% year-on-year.
Capacity growth is driven by a 6% increase across European routes and 4% on intercontinental services. The airline is also adding three new European destinations—Jersey, Santiago de Compostela, and Oviedo—further strengthening its short-haul network.
Within Europe, frequencies will rise to several high-demand leisure markets. Cagliari will be served daily throughout the season, while services to Istanbul, Dubrovnik, Ljubljana, and Cork will see additional flights.
Long-haul expansion includes increased frequencies to Cape Town at the start of the season and daily summer service to Portland. San Diego, Miami, and Hyderabad will operate throughout the entire summer schedule for the first time, while San José is introduced as a new summer-only destination.
The expanded programme reinforces KLM’s focus on network growth and frequency optimisation to meet both leisure and business demand in summer 2026.
