KLM will cancel 119 flights on Wednesday due to a six-hour strike by ground staff, including baggage handlers, check-in workers, and ramp personnel. The walkout, organised by unions FNV and CNV, will run from 06:00 to midday and marks the third strike in three weeks.
The unions rejected a recent agreement between KLM and three other unions that included a 2.25% pay rise over two years, arguing it falls short of staff demands. Another, longer strike is already scheduled for next Wednesday, expected to last eight hours.
