Air France-KLM has taken note of the EU General Court’s judgement on the appeal filed against the decision of the European Commission taken on 9 November 2010 against 14 cargo operators, including Group airlines Air France, KLM and Martinair for practices considered to be anti-competitive in the air cargo sector.

The Group welcomes the position of the General Court that has decided to annul in its entirety the European Commission’s decision and the resulting fines. This judgement can be appealed.

These fines have been fully covered in the financial accounts since 2010. At 30 September 2015, the corresponding provisions amount to 380 million euros, including interest.

In any event, Air France-KLM confirms its commitment to comply strictly with competition rules while constantly ensuring the effectiveness of the prevention system that it implements within Group divisions in the framework of its general compliance policy.
