The Air France/KLM Group today released its July 2017 passenger figures: 9,660,000 passengers traveled within the group, an increase by 5.4% compared to July 2016, total traffic increased by 4.6% (measured in revenue passenger-kilometer) and load factor improved by 1.3pt.
KLM welcomed 3,087,000 passengers in July, an increase of 6.5% against a 2.4% increase in available capacity. Last year the airline transported 2,900,000 passengers in July. This brings the load factor to a record high of 91.7%, an increase of 1.2 percentage points compared to the same month last year. At Transavia, capacity, passenger numbers, and occupancy rates also increased.

At KLM Cargo, the 2.3% drop in cargo transport was less strong than the 3.2% decrease in capacity, which increased the cargo load factor by 0.6 percentage point.
An improved load factor for Air France and Hop! as well, with an increase of 1.6 percentage points to 88.8% . The French airline welcomed 4,906,000 passengers, an increase of 5.8% compared to July 2016 with 4,639,000 passengers.
