On 6 November, the landing gear of an Air France Airbus A318 (F-GUGL) failed to retract after departure from Paris CDG airport. The aircraft was scheduled for a flight to Florence, Italy as AF1566. The pilots decided to head back to the airport of departure, not before an additional check of the landing gear by a Rafale fighter jet that intercepted the A318 in the North-West of Roissy.
