The Air France-KLM group’s Board of Directors met today, Saturday 5 May 2018.

Following the results of the staff consultation launched on 20 April 2018, Jean-Marc Janaillac, Chairman and CEO of Air France-KLM, has confirmed his decision to resign.

The Board members reaffirmed their full and total support for Jean-Marc Janaillac. They deeply regret the situation which resulted in the resignation of a Chairman who led the Group through a period of strategic growth and improved financial performance. The Board formally asked him to continue his assignments as Chairman and CEO of the Group and Chairman of Air France until the end of the Group’s General Meeting on 15 May 2018. A new Board meeting will be held on 15 May and will announce an interim governance solution.

Jean-Marc Janaillac accepted this request and thanked the Board of Directors for its support.
