Air France-KLM denied it is interested in bidding for Italian carrier Alitalia.
Earlier Bloomberg reported that easyJet was teaming up with private equity firm Cerberus and Air France-KLM for the Italian unprofitable carrier.
EasyJet said it has submitted a “revised expression of interest for a restructured Alitalia” as part of a consortium but without naming the other members.”
“There is no certainty at this stage that any transaction will proceed and EasyJet will provide a further update in due course if and when appropriate,”
