Who’s never been frustrated at not being able to finish watching a movie on a flight? With Cinema to Go, to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the partnership between Air France and the Cannes Film Festival, the Company is offering its customers the opportunity to watch or finish watching their film, from the “Cannes Film Festival” selection, after their flight on tablet, smartphone or PC with a gift code offered by the Company.

  • From May 7 to 21, 2016, Air France is introducing Cinema to Go, a unique chance for passengers to watch or finish watching a selection of films which have won awards at the Cannes Film Festival during and after their flight;
  • On certain flights from Los Angeles to Paris-Charles de Gaulle*.

In this way, movie lovers can continue to enjoy their cinema experience after their trip by choosing a movie from the “Cannes Film Festival” selection available on board such as The Pianist, which won the Palme d’or in 2002, Persepolis which won the Jury Prize in 2007, The Artist, winner of the Best Actor Award in 2011, The Angels’ Share, winner of the Jury Prize in 2012 and many others.

In addition, in May, Air France is offering all its customers the chance to see this unique selection of winning films at Cannes aboard its long-haul flights to ensure optimum entertainment on board.

A REAL MOVIE THEATER IN THE SKY

Air France, official partner of the Cannes Film Festival since 1980, now offers an even wider choice of international movies on board its flights. The Company offers up to 1,200 hours of programs on demand, available immediately after boarding and up to arrival at the destination airport.

With more than 38,000 intuitive navigation screens, Air France offers its customers a new selection of recent comedies, dramas and action films every month.

In order to offer a range of films which is adapted to the tastes and cultures of all its customers, half of whom are international, there is also a selection of feature films shown in their original language. Some films are available in up to ten languages, including Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Air France has also thought about its younger passengers, as there is a wide range of animated films and cartoons just for them.

* Offer is exclusive to Air France Airbus A380 Flights from Los Angeles to Paris-Charles de Gaulle operating under the AF065 flight number on May 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2016.
