The annual Beaujolais Nouveau graces dinner tables worldwide starting on the third Thursday of November.

That means wine connoisseurs can enjoy the 2014 vintage as early as the twentieth of the month. Every year Air France – KLM – Martinair Cargo carries this precious cargo to the four corners of the earth.

Beaujolais Nouveau is here ... thanks to Air France!

Air France, KLM, and Martinair transported 1.9 million bottles of 2014 Beaujolais Nouveau in their holds during the first two weeks of November. Japan is the number-one consumer of Beaujolais: 76% of all bottles were sent to Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka. China, Canada, and the United States are next on the list of biggest importers.

In all, 1,650 tonnes have been delivered. Air France, KLM, and Martinair Cargo apply their expertise year after year to meet the unique conditions this special task requires as well as an international schedule of tastings.
