On Thursday 13 October, the aircraft to be delivered to Air France in a few weeks’ time left the hangars at Boeing’s Everett factory (north of Seattle).
Eight French companies (Dassault Systems, Labinal, Latécoère, Messier-Bugatty-Dowty, Michelin, Radiall, Thalès and Zodiac Aérospace) have been selected to supply fundamental systems including the braking systems, doors, connectivity and landing gear and are thus playing their part on a daily basis in Air France’s first Dreamliner adventure.
