Air France offers its customers participating in the Mobile World Congress, an international gathering for the mobile industry, the possibility to travel on board its latest-generation Boeing 787 aircraft.

Two round-trips connecting Paris-Charles de Gaulle to mobile world capital Barcelona, will be exceptionally operated by Boeing 787, with a capacity of 276 seats.

A capacity increase of over 75%

To meet high demand, Air France is increasing its number of flights connecting Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Barcelona to allow as many people as possible to attend the Mobile World Congress. The Company is operating 37 additional flights throughout the duration of the trade show, representing a capacity increase of over 75%.

In total, 118 flights will connect Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Barcelona over the 6-day period from 26 February to 3 March 2017.  On Sunday 26 February 2017, Air France will operate 15 flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Barcelona, with the capacity to transport up to 2,700 customers to the exhibition.

This innovative new-generation aircraft offers a unique travel experience –

  • the latest Air France cabins: a cocoon in the sky in the Business cabin (30 seats), and comfort for all in the new Premium Economy cabin (21 seats) and in Economy (225 seats);
  • a Wi-Fi connection on board adapted to the requirements and habits of customers (from 20MB to 200MB for a price ranging between €5 and €30);
  • mood lighting adapted to the different stages of the flight;
  • additional comfort and space with the new Premium Economy seats;
  • windows that are approximately 30% larger than on similar aircraft, equipped with an electronic window darkening system;
  • a lower cabin altitude and enhanced in-flight humidity levels for greater travel comfort.
