Three representative labour unions, CFDT, CFE–CGC and UNSA, representing over 50% of ground staff votes at the last union elections, have signed the three-year agreement for career management (ATGPEM) and the generation contract.
This agreement offers a number of important guarantees for ground staff, in terms of career evolution, measures in support of mobility, and changes in the different business areas.
Under the terms of this agreement, the Company undertakes not to make any forced redundancies for economic reasons until 30 June 2018 for Air France ground staff. Staff concerned by collective redeployment and who wish to continue their career within the company will benefit from functional and/or geographical mobility measures.
Social dialogue can be constructive within Air France, as this major agreement demonstrates. It allows us to find balanced compromises, which both strengthen the company’s competitiveness, the guarantees offered to staff and social responsibility in terms of employment management.
