Air France partners with Apple TV to expand premium in-flight entertainment

Share

Air France has announced a new partnership with Apple TV, enhancing its in-flight entertainment offering on long-haul flights from January. Passengers now have access to more than 45 hours of Apple TV original content, including globally acclaimed series such as Ted Lasso, The Morning Show and Severance, alongside documentaries, children’s programmes and titles highlighting French culture.

The Apple TV catalogue is available via a dedicated channel in the in-flight entertainment system, featuring the first three episodes of each series. Content is offered in French and English, with subtitles and accessibility options, and is refreshed every two months. Series such as Carême, Prehistoric Planet, The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy, WondLa and The Snoopy Show round out the selection.

In parallel, Air France is offering passengers one week of free access to Apple TV through its new high-speed wifi portal, allowing travellers to stream content on their personal devices during the flight and continue watching after landing. This experience will be further developed with bespoke onboard content as the service evolves.

The new high-speed wifi is being progressively rolled out across the entire Air France fleet, including regional aircraft, and is expected to be available on all flights by the end of the year.

More broadly, Air France’s long-haul fleet offers over 1,500 hours of on-demand entertainment per passenger via high-definition screens, including 4K anti-glare displays with Bluetooth connectivity in the latest cabins. The airline continues to emphasise cultural diversity, dedicating around 30% of its entertainment catalogue to French productions, supported by partnerships with Canal+ and Apple TV.
