From 27 March 2016 and for the entire 2016 summer season, a new daily flight between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Glasgow.

Heading north to Glasgow, at the heart of Scotland

As from 27 March 2016 and for the entire 2016 summer season, Air France will be offering a new daily flight between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Glasgow international airport in Scotland. Flights will be operated by Airbus A318 with a capacity of 131 seats.

“The launch of flights to Glasgow next summer highlights our desire to serve growth markets. These new flights from Paris will expand our offer to Scotland, a region with a strong appeal, both from an economic and a tourist point of view” declared Frédéric Gagey, Chairman and CEO of Air France.

Daily flight schedules, starting 27 March 2016

AF1056: leaves Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 7:30, arrives in Glasgow at 8:15;
AF1057: leaves Glasgow at 9:00, arrives at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 11:50.

By serving Glasgow from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Air France is offering customers the opportunity to fly to one of Scotland’s most buoyant destinations, which enjoys a strong economic and tourist appeal. It’s also a new gateway to Scotland, a UK nation with 5.3 million people. Every year, close to 15 million visitors travel to Scotland for both business and tourist reasons.

In addition, on departure from Glasgow, Air France customers can benefit from optimized connections to Air France’s entire medium and long-haul network from its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

This new offer of Air France flights is in addition to the four daily frequencies operated by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines between Glasgow and the Amsterdam-Schiphol hub.

Air France-KLM in Scotland

This winter, the Air France-KLM group operates up to 147 weekly flights to 3 destinations in Scotland: Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. In summer 2016, the Group will expand its services with a new daily flight operated by Air France to Glasgow on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
