Air France-KLM and SAS expand partnership with new transatlantic codeshare

Share

Air France-KLM and SAS are strengthening their commercial partnership with a new codeshare agreement covering SAS’s nonstop flights between Scandinavia and the United States. The move builds on their cooperation launched in 2024 and SAS’s entry into the SkyTeam alliance last year.

Under the deal, Air France will place its code on the following SAS-operated routes:

  • From Copenhagen (CPH): Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York–Newark, New York–JFK, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington D.C.
  • From Stockholm (ARN): Miami, New York–Newark.
  • From Oslo (OSL): New York–Newark, New York–JFK.

Tickets are already available via Air France, KLM, and SAS sales channels.

The expansion adds to reciprocal codeshares already in place on long-haul flights from Paris and Amsterdam, as well as on European routes. Customers will benefit from seamless connections, more loyalty opportunities—including Flying Blue miles and XP points—and reward seat availability on SAS flights.

Both airlines said the step reflects their shared strategy to increase flexibility, connectivity, and loyalty benefits for transatlantic travellers.
