Air France and Air Côte d’Ivoire will launch a reciprocal codeshare on the Paris Charles de Gaulle–Abidjan route from 25 October 2026, giving customers access to both airlines’ services under either carrier’s flight code.
Announced during the Association of Francophone Air Carriers (ATAF) meeting in Ajaccio, the agreement will broaden the choice of departure times available through each airline’s booking channels. It will also give Air Côte d’Ivoire’s Paris flights access to Air France’s global distribution network.
Air Côte d’Ivoire chief executive Laurent Loukou said the codeshare represents the first phase of a wider partnership, with additional destinations across Air France’s network expected to be included before the end of June 2027. Air France has been a shareholder and strategic partner of the Ivorian carrier since its creation in 2012.
Reciprocal loyalty benefits between Flying Blue and sMiles are planned for the end of 2026. Flying Blue members will be able to earn and redeem miles on Air Côte d’Ivoire-operated Paris–Abidjan flights, while sMiles members will earn miles on Air France services along the same route. Redemption by sMiles members across Air France’s wider network is envisaged at a later stage.
