Air Côte d’Ivoire has revealed its first long-haul Airbus A330-900 Neo, marking a milestone in the country’s aviation history. The aircraft, which completed its maiden flight on August 5, 2025, features four cabin classes — First, Business, Premium, and Economy — offering a rare configuration in the region.
Funded by the Ivorian government, BOAD, and strategic partners, the aircraft will serve the new Abidjan–Paris route, with future plans for New York and other international destinations. A second A330-900 Neo will also join the fleet, each with 242 seats, to expand connectivity, lower fares, and support Air Côte d’Ivoire’s growth.
Unveiled just ahead of Côte d’Ivoire’s 65th Independence Day, the new aircraft underscores the country’s ambition to strengthen its position in African and global aviation.
