Air China Cargo has signed an agreement with Airbus for four additional Airbus A350F freighters, bringing the Chinese cargo carrier’s total order for the type to 10 aircraft.
The airline had already ordered six A350F freighters in November 2025 and said the additional aircraft will help optimise its fleet structure and support growing demand in the international cargo market.
Air China Cargo currently operates eight Airbus A330-200P2F freighters and plans to use the new-generation A350F on long-haul international routes. Airbus says the aircraft offers up to 20% lower fuel consumption and carbon emissions compared to previous-generation freighters in the same category.
