Another Air Canada incident at San Francisco Airport; pilots did not hear six ATC requests to go-around

An Air Canada flight has again caused a lot of stress with air traffic controllers at San Francisco airport, flight #AC781 from Montreal was cleared for landing on runway 28R. According to several sources air traffic control requested six times to go around as another aircraft was possibly blocking the landing runway.

But the aircraft continued for landing, the pilots of the Airbus A320 (C-GPWG) now claim that there was a problem with the radio. Federal aviation authorities are investigating the incident.

Another incident with an Air Canada aircraft in San Francisco: in July 2017 Air Canada flight 759, an Airbus A320, was cleared to land on runway 28R at San Francisco International Airport, but the airplane lined up on parallel taxiway C, which had four airplanes on it awaiting takeoff clearance.
