Air Canada will inaugurate nonstop flights from Montréal to Palma de Mallorca in June 2026, marking the first new route operated by its incoming Airbus A321XLR fleet. The seasonal service will run four times weekly until late October 2026, with tickets now available.
The airline begins taking delivery of 30 A321XLRs in early 2026, including up to 10 additional aircraft that same year. The new narrow-body jets will feature lie-flat Business Class seats, 182-passenger capacity, and a redesigned onboard experience.
In addition to Mallorca, Air Canada will deploy the A321XLR on Montréal–Toulouse (year-round) and Montréal–Edinburgh (seasonal) in 2026, with plans to expand to more routes from Toronto, Ottawa, and Halifax as the fleet grows.
