Air Canada will introduce a seasonal nonstop route between Toronto and Oslo on 3 June 2027, creating the first direct air service between Canada and Norway.
The route will operate four times weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until late October. Air Canada will use a 182-seat Airbus A321XLR.
Flights will depart Toronto at 20:30 and arrive in Oslo at 10:00 the following morning. The return service will leave Oslo at 12:15 and reach Toronto at 14:20 local time.
The service will give Norwegian passengers access to Air Canada’s North American network through Toronto, including convenient US connections with preclearance completed before departure. It is also expected to support inbound tourism by making Norway more accessible to Canadian and American visitors.
With Oslo joining its network, Air Canada says it will become the only North American airline serving all three Scandinavian capitals.
