Air Canada has unveiled a major expansion of its Winter 2026–27 international network, adding Quito, Ecuador, extending year-round service to key European cities, boosting Latin America capacity, and restoring sun routes from Calgary.

Key highlights include new Quito flights from Montréal (3x weekly) and Toronto (1x weekly) starting December 2026 on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners; Toronto–Manchester and Toronto–Copenhagen becoming year-round from October 2026, enabled by a new Airbus A321XLR base at Toronto Pearson with lie-flat Signature Class seats; and new Calgary nonstops to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta launching in December 2026.

The airline is also strengthening its Latin America footprint with earlier seasonal restarts and higher frequencies to Rio, Lima, Santiago and Bogota, while building on its previously announced Vancouver–Sapporo service, the only nonstop route from North America to Hokkaido.

Together, the changes reinforce Air Canada’s strategy of leveraging its global hubs to drive connectivity, tourism and trade across Europe, Latin America and leisure markets during the peak winter travel season.
