Air Canada has expanded its presence in Türkiye through a new interline partnership with Pegasus Airlines, giving customers access to additional routes and seamless onward connections.
Under the agreement, Air Canada passengers can book travel on nine Pegasus-operated routes, connecting via major European gateways to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport and, from Frankfurt, to ?zmir Adnan Menderes Airport. The partnership enhances connectivity to both Istanbul and the Aegean city of Izmir, key leisure and business destinations in Türkiye.
The interline arrangement enables customers to travel on a single ticket with through-checked baggage, improving convenience and reducing transfer friction. Air Canada’s participating European gateways include Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Munich, Geneva, Vienna, Zurich and Athens.
Both airlines signalled their intention to deepen cooperation, with discussions underway to evolve the partnership into a full codeshare agreement. A future expansion could include reciprocal loyalty programme benefits and broader network integration across both carriers’ international operations.
