Air Canada is expanding its Summer 2026 transatlantic network with several new routes, including a notable addition for Brussels. The airline will launch a new Halifax–Brussels service, operating three times weekly from 18 June to 5 September 2026.

The seasonal route, flown with a narrowbody Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft offering Premium and Economy cabins, will make Brussels Air Canada’s second international destination served from Halifax, alongside London Heathrow.

Brussels is highlighted as a key strategic gateway, providing onward connectivity across Europe and Africa through Star Alliance partner Brussels Airlines. The new service forms part of a broader expansion that also includes new flights from Montréal to Berlin and Nantes, from Toronto to Ponta Delgada in the Azores, and the return of Montréal–Tel Aviv flights. Air Canada says these additions will help solidify its position as North America’s second-largest transatlantic network by destinations next summer.
