Last month luchtzak.be provided in-depth information about Air Belgium’s plan to start operations. Air Belgium is now launching a 10.000€ uniform designer competition.
On the website (Air Belgium) we found the following contest:
CONTEST
Are you an ambitious and enthusiastic stylist? Are you ready to take off for a high-flying challenge?
Then this competition is for you!
As a new airline, we need to design the outfits for our future cabin crew. This is quite a challenge as they should reflect our values and will be part of our DNA. We could not imagine a better creator to meet this challenge than a promising, talented, young designer. We are offering the opportunity for the winner to see their creation stand out worldwide and to win €10 000 to launch their career.
Register for the competition by 15th January 2017 by completing the form.
We would be delighted to welcome you on board for this wonderful project.
Good luck!
Next to the uniform contest and the news that Air Belgium is hiring cabin crew and cockpit crew, they are also looking for a business finance controller, a business solutions coordinator, an avsec officer, a flight operations administrative support officer, a crew resources manager and an assistant traffic rights-slots-permits (Air Belgium career).
Note from editor: the uniform contest reminds me of the VLM Airlines Facebook post with the very important question: cabin crew uniforms, with or without hats.
