The airline, currently operating scheduled flights between Brussels South Charleroi Airport and Hong Kong and already operated a series of ACMI flights for other airlines (Air France, TUI fly Belgium, Condor, Surinam Airways), will operate British Airways flights from London Heathrow to Cairo on 3, 4 and 5 September, with a return the next day (*).

The airline is also looking to hire extra ground staff and cabin crew, but most important Air Belgium is looking for motivated co-pilots,” a spokesman told

Air Belgium has been asked to carry out those flight because the Boeing 787 aircraft of British Airways still have issues with the Rolls-Royce Trent engines, and Qatar Airways is no longer able to provide relief aircraft as it sometimes did in the past.
