On 26 June 2018, Air Belgium’s third Airbus A340 has been entered in the Belgian register as OO-ABE, a notable user of our forum noticed. The 10-year-old ex-Finnair aircraft was registered OH-LQE and has been stored at Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées Airport since January 2017.
Already in December 2016 the airline planned to add a total of four aircraft to the fleet, the fourth A340 will be registered OO-ABD. Small detail: A-B-D-E, OO-ABC is missing in the list: that registration was previously taken by private jet airline Flying Service (Group) with a Dassault Falcon 7X (until May 2017).
While OO-ABB is connecting Brussels South Charleroi Airport with Hong Kong, sister aircraft OO-ABA today will operate an Air France flight between Paris CDG and Lagos (and back).
