Air Arabia to launch double-daily Sharjah–London Gatwick flights from March 2026

Share

Air Arabia is expanding its European reach with a new non-stop service between Sharjah and London Gatwick, set to begin on 29 March 2026. The double-daily flights mark a significant step in the low-cost carrier’s network growth and strengthen connectivity between the UAE and the UK.

The new route will operate twice daily using Airbus A321neo LR aircraft, offering travellers more flexibility and supporting rising demand for travel and trade flows between both markets.

Air Arabia Group CEO Adel Al Ali said the launch represents a “significant milestone” in the airline’s expansion strategy, adding that the new link enhances access to the UK while maintaining the carrier’s focus on value-driven travel.

London Gatwick’s Chief Commercial Officer Jonathan Pollard welcomed the addition, noting strong demand for Middle East destinations and praising the route as another boost to the airport’s expanding network.

Bookings for the Sharjah–Gatwick service are now open through Air Arabia’s website, call centre and travel agencies.
