Air Arabia has received its first Airbus A320neo, marking the start of deliveries from its 120-aircraft order placed in 2019. The order includes 73 A320neo, 27 A321neo, and 20 A321XLR jets, supporting the airline’s long-term growth and sustainability strategy.
The new aircraft will enter service on October 1, 2025, flying from Sharjah to Bangkok. Equipped with fuel-efficient CFM LEAP-1A engines and Sharklets, the A320neo will cut fuel burn and CO? emissions by 20%, enhancing operational efficiency.
This milestone strengthens Air Arabia’s fleet of 83 Airbus aircraft and supports its expanding multi-hub operations across the UAE, North Africa, and South Asia. Additional aircraft deliveries are expected by year’s end, bolstering the low-cost carrier’s network reach and environmental goals.
