Air Arabia will launch daily nonstop flights between Sharjah and Düsseldorf on 16 December 2026, making the German city its third destination in the country after Frankfurt and Munich.
The new route will be operated with Airbus A320neo aircraft. Four weekly flights will depart Sharjah at 15:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving in Düsseldorf at 20:05. The return service will leave at 20:55 and reach Sharjah at 06:35 the following morning.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, flights will depart Sharjah at 08:10 and arrive in Düsseldorf at 12:45. The return flight will leave at 13:35 and land in Sharjah at 23:15.
Düsseldorf Airport said the route would strengthen its links with the Gulf region and provide passengers from North Rhine-Westphalia and neighbouring parts of the Netherlands with connections through Sharjah to destinations across the Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia.
The addition further expands Air Arabia’s European network from Sharjah, which includes Athens, Frankfurt, Gda?sk, Katowice, Kraków, London Gatwick, Milan Bergamo, Munich, Prague, Rome, Vienna, Warsaw Chopin and, from December, Düsseldorf.
