After a five-year suspension, Air Algérie will resume flights to Budapest, Hungary, starting 29 October 2025. The route, suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic, reflects the airline’s push to reestablish international connectivity and expand in the European market.
The resumed service will operate twice weekly on a triangular route with Vienna:
- Wednesdays: Algiers ? Vienna ? Budapest ? Algiers
- Saturdays: Algiers ? Budapest ? Vienna ? Algiers
All flights will be operated by a Boeing 737-700.
In parallel, Air Algérie is expanding summer charter services to key tourist destinations:
- Egypt: Charter flights to Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada from Algiers, Oran, Constantine, and Annaba.
- Tunisia: Two weekly flights to Djerba (August–September) with all-inclusive travel packages.
These initiatives strengthen Air Algérie’s role in both international business travel and regional tourism, supporting growing demand and contributing to the Mediterranean’s travel recovery.
