Aigle Azur and ASL Airlines France announce the signing, on April 30, of a codeshare agreement on flights between France and Algeria.
Thanks to this partnership, Aigle Azur and ASL Airlines France are now offering their passengers enhanced service to Algeria from 7 French cities.
These codeshare flights – on sale today – will contribute to the growth of traffic between the two countries, as well as the tourism and business development of the two urban centres of Algiers and Oran. The codeshare agreement will allow each company to sell the capacity available on all flights and thus offer a much wider and flexible offer to their customers while ensuring a quality of service and satisfaction at the level of their expectations.
With ASL Airlines France, Aigle Azur, which already offered flights to 7 Algerian cities from Paris-Orly, Lyon, Marseille, Mulhouse and Toulouse airports, has strengthened its presence in the cities of Algiers and Oran from Paris-CDG, Bordeaux and Perpignan-Rivesaltes.
Frantz Yvelin, President of Aigle Azur, declares: “Aigle Azur is a specialist in Algeria, a major historical destination that will certainly remain a priority for all teams. ASL Airlines is also present on this market and our two airlines being French, it was natural to agree to increase our respective offers on this destination and maximise customer satisfaction. We are delighted with this agreement with our friends at ASL Airlines, allowing us to respond intelligently to the growing demand for these destinations. This partnership meets our quality requirements and is fully in line with our development strategy for our services.”
Jean-François Dominiak, Managing Director of ASL Airlines France declares: “We are very happy with this commercial partnership with Aigle Azur, a company that is a reference on the France-Algeria air routes. Between private French companies, in competition with the big national companies, we share common problems and we must combine our strength to resist on the markets, with quality services, frequencies adapted to the needs of our customers and modern marketing solutions and flexible. With the codeshare available on several routes from Paris but also from the province, we offer a multitude of travel combinations to our customers, at reasonable prices. This is good news for the passengers of ASL Airlines France and Aigle Azur!”
It should be noted that Aigle Azur was one of the partner airlines of the Digital Cluster SAFEX, which this year transported 10 Algerian start-ups to the international technology fair Viva Tech, a global hub for Start-ups from May 16 to 18.
