Aeroméxico transported 2.15 million passengers in August 2026 as demand continued to outpace capacity growth.
Passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger miles, increased by 2.9% compared with August 2025, while available seat miles rose by 2.3%. Consequently, the airline’s load factor improved by 0.6 percentage points to 89.7%.
Aeroméxico said forward bookings remained healthy going into the autumn. However, the group warned that fuel prices were higher than anticipated and said it would maintain disciplined capacity planning, optimise its network and pursue measures to recover increased fuel costs.
