Aircraft Engine Lease Finance Inc. (AELF) has acquired a 2016 Boeing 737-800 currently leased to Aerolíneas Argentinas, marking its third such aircraft placed with the airline.
The move aligns with AELF’s strategy of investing in mid-life aircraft assets and strengthening partnerships with established carriers. The company emphasised confidence in the 737-800 asset class and indicated plans to continue fleet expansion.
The acquisition follows AELF’s $355 million financing raise in 2025, aimed at supporting ongoing growth and investment in its leasing portfolio.
