Russian airlines’ passenger traffic grew 10.2% year-on-year in January-July 2018

Russian airlines carried 64.2 million passengers in January-July 2018, a 10.2% increase year-on-year, according to the data released by Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency on Tuesday.
Passenger turnover grew by 10.2% in annual terms to 158.5 billion passenger-kilometres.
Passenger traffic of domestic airlines rose 6.3% year-on-year to 12.7 million in July 2018, the regulator reports. Aeroflot increased passenger transportation by 9.7% year-on-year in July to 3.6 million people, S7 – to 1.3 million people (up 20.8%), Rossiya – to 1.5 million (plus 5.6%), and Ural Airlines – to 1 million passengers (up 6.2%).
