Aeroflot is today launching joint flights between Moscow and Buenos Aires as part of its code-share agreement with Aerolineas Argentinas.

Flights to Buenos Aires will operate daily, with a transfer in Madrid. Aeroflot will operate the leg between Moscow and Madrid on Airbus A320/A321 and Boeing 737 aircraft, while Aerolineas Argentinas will operate the Madrid-Buenos Aires leg using Airbus A330 and A340 aircraft.

Aeroflot and Aerolineas Argentinas plan to continue working together and in future to expand their joint route network by launching flights between Moscow and Buenos Aires with transfers in other European and American cities.

With the upcoming major global football tournament, which takes place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018, the new joint flights operated by Aeroflot and Aerolineas Argentinas offer new opportunities for both football fans and travellers looking to visit distant countries.

  1. I remember when SU used to fly once a week to Buenos Aires with the IL-86. The route was a never ending pilgrimage of stops including the very exotic Sal (on Ilha do Sal).
