AEGEAN has announced the addition of two Airbus A321neo XLR aircraft to its fleet, expanding its long-haul capabilities and accelerating its entry into the Indian market. Starting in March 2026, AEGEAN will operate five weekly flights to New Delhi, followed by three weekly flights to Mumbai in May.
The A321neo XLR offers a range of up to 10.5 hours and will be configured with just 138 seats, including 24 Business Class Suites with lie-flat beds. Economy passengers will also benefit from enhanced comfort, 4K entertainment systems, Wi-Fi, and USB charging.
With these new aircraft—expected for delivery in December 2025 and January 2026—AEGEAN strengthens its position as a regional hub for long-range international travel. Additional routes to destinations such as Bangalore, the Maldives, and Nairobi are under consideration following future aircraft deliveries.
