Hi Fly, Europe’s specialized wet lease airline, announces the addition of three new Airbus A319-100s to its fleet.
The aircraft, which were delivered to Hi Fly in May and June, have a total passenger capacity between 144 and 150 passengers.
The A319 – a shortened-fuselage member of Airbus’ A320 family –is a highly versatile aircraft and has the same optimized cabin cross-section as its fellow A320 family, making the widest single-aisle fuselage currently on the market.
The A319 is designed to cater to every need of the modern air traveller and is widely credited with setting a new standard for passenger comfort on single-aisle jetliners.
The A319’s calm, quiet cabin provides a fresh new look, with added space in the overhead compartments, a significant reduction in noise. It also comes with a variety of options for relaxing ambient lighting – and still manages to be lighter than its predecessors.
Hi Fly President Paulo Mirpuri, welcoming the new additions to his fleet, said: “Hi Fly is now the leading wet-lease carrier with an all Airbus fleet – with our fleet offering clients every option from the A319 right up to the A380.
