Lessor BOC Aviation orders up to 300 CFM LEAP engines

Share

BOC Aviation has placed its largest-ever engine order, signing an agreement with CFM International for up to 300 LEAP engines. The deal includes orders and options for up to 200 LEAP-1A engines for Airbus A320neo family aircraft and up to 100 LEAP-1B engines for Boeing 737-8s.

The engines will power a significant share of the aircraft in BOC Aviation’s existing order book and support the lessor’s fleet expansion over the coming decade.

BOC Aviation said the LEAP engine family’s lower fuel consumption and reduced emissions align with its strategy of building one of the industry’s most environmentally efficient leased aircraft portfolios.

CFM International described the agreement as a key part of its long-term partnership with BOC Aviation, supporting both the lessor’s fleet growth and sustainability objectives.
