BOC Aviation has signed a lease agreement with Zhejiang Loong Airlines for three Airbus A320neo aircraft from its orderbook. The aircraft, powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines, are scheduled for delivery in 2027.

“We are proud to continue expanding our presence in China through this transaction with Loong Air,” said Steven Townend, CEO and Managing Director of BOC Aviation. “These aircraft will support the airline’s growth with fuel-efficient and advanced technology, while strengthening our position in one of the world’s most dynamic aviation markets.”

Liu Qihong, Chairman of Loong Air, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership: “This agreement represents another solid step in our cooperation with BOC Aviation. Hangzhou’s fast-growing tech ecosystem offers great opportunities, and we look forward to working together to promote innovation and development in aviation.”

The deal reinforces BOC Aviation’s role as a key provider of modern, efficient fleet solutions to Chinese carriers and underscores Loong Air’s ongoing fleet modernisation strategy.
