Leasing agreements between several airlines and American Lease Corporation (ALC) during 2019 Paris Air Show

During this year’s Paris Air Show, American leasing company Air Lease Corporation (ALC) signed different lease placements and lease agreements with Peach, Sichuan Airlines, Sky Airline, Air Caraïbes and FrenchBee. A summary:

  • A long-term lease placements for two new Airbus A320neo and two new Airbus A321neo LR aircraft with Peach Aviation Limited (Japan).  The four new Airbus aircraft are scheduled to deliver to Peach starting in 2020 through 2022 from ALC’s order book with Airbus.  

ALC is thrilled to confirm this significant lease placement with Peach for four new Airbus aircraft and contribute to the airline’s growing all-Airbus A320 fleet,” said Steven F. Udvar-Házy, Executive Chairman of Air Lease Corporation.  “The A320neo and A321neo LR offer Peach the most technologically advanced, fuel-efficient aircraft that will bring a new level of passenger comfort and convenience to the Japanese market.

  • A long-term lease placements with Sky Airline (Chile) for three new Airbus A321-200neo aircraft.  Scheduled to deliver to Sky starting in 2020 through 2021, the three new A321-200neos will deliver from ALC’s order book with Airbus and join three A320-200neos currently on lease to the airline from the Lessor.

Sky Airline is a key ALC customer in the Latin American market and we are pleased to be the first to place the A321-200neo in the airline’s growing narrowbody fleet,” said Steven F. Udvar-Házy, Executive Chairman of Air Lease Corporation.  “The A321-200neo will complement Sky’s current highly competitive fleet with a new standard of fuel-efficiency and passenger comfort.

  • Air Lease Corporation announced long-term lease agreements with Air Caraïbes and FrenchBee, part of Groupe Dubreuil Aéro, for three new Airbus A350-900 and one new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, on lease from ALC’s order book with Airbus.  The three A350-900s are scheduled to deliver to Air Caraïbes starting in 2019 through 2020, the first of which delivered to the airline on June 12, 2019 on lease to FrenchBee.  The A350-1000 is scheduled to deliver to the airlines in Fall 2021.

  • A long-term lease agreements for ten Airbus A321-200neo aircraft with Sichuan Airlines.  Scheduled to deliver from ALC’s order book with Airbus starting in 2021 through 2022, the ten A321-200neos join one A350-900, one A321-200neo, one A320-200neo, four A321-200s, one A330-300 and one A330-200 aircraft currently on lease to the airline from ALC.
