Air Lease Corporation takes delivery of its first U.S.-manufactured A321 aircraft

The milestone delivery of the first U.S.-produced A321 to Air Lease Corporation (ALC) was celebrated by (left to right): Steven F. Udvar-Házy, Executive Chairman of ALC; Jeff Knittel, Airbus Americas Chairman & CEO; Jimmy Dempsey, Frontier Airlines CFO; and Daryl Taylor, Vice President & General Manager of the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility.

Delivered from the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama, the first U.S.-produced A321 for Air Lease Corporation (ALC) will be operated by Frontier Airlines; keeping with the Denver-based carrier’s animal-themed paint scheme, this aircraft features Xavier the Mountain Goat on its vertical tail.
