Today Air Lease Corporation announced the delivery of one new Boeing 787-10 aircraft on long-term lease to EVA Air (Taiwan). This aircraft is the first of two 787-10 aircraft to deliver to EVA Air from ALC’s order book with Boeing, joining four 787-9s and four 777-300ERs currently on lease to the airline. The second 787-10 is scheduled to deliver to EVA Air in 2020.
“ALC was the first to introduce the Dreamliner to EVA Air’s fleet in 2018 and we are honoured to announce this new 787-10 delivery today,” said Jie Chen, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Asia of Air Lease Corporation. “EVA Air continues to excel as a leading Asia Pacific international airline with one of the most technologically advanced fleets in operation and we are proud to play a role in the airline’s continued success.”
