Avion Express, a global leader in narrow-body ACMI operations, is launching the search for a CEO to lead its new Mexican start-up airline, part of efforts to secure a local Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and expand in Latin America.
The move follows the company’s recent AOC success in Brazil and is driven by strong growth in Mexico’s aviation market, which saw over 830,000 flights and nearly 45 million international tourists in 2024.
The new CEO will oversee certification, team building, and operational launch, with the AOC expected within 24 months.
Avion Express currently operates 55 Airbus A320-family aircraft worldwide.
