A national strike in France from 21 to 23 May is causing extensive flight delays and cancellations, the impact is particularly high in the Brest and the Bordeaux control centres, but also Paris, Reims and Marseille control areas have been affected by the strike.
French Civil Aviation Authorities gave instructions to all airlines to decrease their flight schedule from and to French airports by 20%. Already hundreds of flights have been cancelled due to this national strike.

As is standard during a French strike, many flights the would normally transit French airspace are taking the long way around today.
