An Antonov An-2 turboprop aircraft (RA-01460) operated by Naryan-Mar JSC and built in 1988 has crashed in the Nenets Automonous Okrug*. The aircraft made a steep turn shortly after take-off when control was lost. The current death toll is now at four.
“According to preliminary information, thirteen passengers have been wounded, some of them seriously“, the hospital said.

Next to the two pilots there were employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, including the head of the Department of Agriculture Sergei Andriyanov.
A headquarter was set up under the leadership of Alexander Tsybulsky, the provinical governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug to investigate the cause of the accident.
