Royals given guided tour of A350 XWB final Assembly Line

His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf and Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden, were given a guided tour of the A350 XWB Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Toulouse as part of their official three day State visit of France. The King and Queen were accompanied by the Swedish Minister for Employment, Ylva Johansson, the Swedish Minister for Energy, Ibrahim Bayla, the French Secretary of State Carole Delga, in charge of Trade and in presence of Swedish and French ambassadors. The Royals were welcomed at the entrance of the A350 Final Assembly Line by the Chief HR Officer Airbus Group & Airbus, Thierry Baril, and Didier Evrard, Executive Vice President, Head of A350XWB Programme.

During the visit guided by Mr Didier Evrard, the King and Queen met with some of Airbus’ Swedish employees. The royal party also visited the A350 Flight Test aircraft MSN 5. Scandinavian Airline Services (SAS) has signed a firm order for eight A350-900 aircraft to be delivered from 2018.
