Norwegian may be courted by both IAG and Lufthansa, it continues its own life:

Norwegian Air Argentina to sign a US$7.1 million agreement soon to create a domestic hub in Cordoba from October 2018, with two based aircraft.

Norwegian plans to offer service from Rome and Oslo to Tel Aviv on 28 and 31 October 2018, with a mix of B737 MAX 8 and B737-800.

Norwegian to offer daily B737 MAX 8 flights from New York Stewart to Edinburgh and Shannon from 28 October 2018.

Unless Norwegian isn't able to survive on its own I fail to understand why it would want to be taken over by IAG or LH. Can't imagine that would be such a good thing for the traveling public!

That would rather be LGW and JFK.
LGA to JFK is a bit short...

An airline selling their most valuable assests, aircraft, because they need cash is never a good sign!
